Our expertise in plastics man­u­fac­turing has enabled us to come up with a superb, soft, durable, life-like and buoyant compound, which makes for a bril­liant arti­fi­cial hook bait! Our arti­fi­cial Buoyant Casters have now accounted for an incred­ible number of big tench, bream and carp.

Designed primarily to disguise the bare hook when using hair rigged baits, hook skins resemble bloodworms which form part of a fishes natural diet. By imitating a natural bloodworm and eliminating glint from the sun, their use could give the angler an advantage when targeting hook shy, wary fish. We recommend using in conjunction with our artificial bloodworms. They can also be used on there own as a larger bloodworm bait.

Our arti­fi­cial Buoyant Maggots have now accounted for an incred­ible number of big tench, bream and carp. They rep­resent truly excel­lent value for money and are deadly when used crit­ic­ally bal­anced with both maggot feeders and Method feeders, in particular! The three different sizes of Buoyant Maggot can be used on a wide range of hooks to produce effective baits that are sinking, critically balanced or popped up. They are also very effective in conjunction with a live maggot or as a combination bait with real or artificial sweetcorn. These baits are also pineapple flavoured and dusted in food grade starch powder. The pineapple flavour is a proven attractant which can be boosted or even over-ridden by immersion in more concentrated flavours.

It has taken him a lot of effort, research, design and exhaustive testing to get it just right, but we think that it’s been worth it! We’ll let Dan explain more… “I have put a great deal of time and effort into formulating a bespoke range of plastic hook baits to cover almost any angling situation, Worldwide. Our baits are different from anything else currently on the market because they contain our favourite flavour/attractor combinations arrived at after years of making our own pop-ups, actually moulded into the plastic. These flavour combinations are as follows… There are two buoyancies throughout the range, slow sinking, which sinks under the weight of the hook, so the hook lays flat and the bait hovers just above, and super buoyant pop-up.

Often copied but never bettered, this bait is responsible for the capture of thousands of large carp including a former british record, plus specimen tench, bream, crucians and roach. Impregnated with our special attractants, the imitation grains are soft enough for side hooking but are most effective when used on a hair rig, either alone or combined with real grains of corn. Use the buoyancy to your advantage to create popped up or critically balanced hook baits, using a small shot if required to counterbalance the rig .
