The Daiwa 20 Crossfire LT Reel features all the latest and greatest of the Daiwa technology. One of the first noticeable changes to the Crossfire reel is its lightness The LT stands for light and tough so you can be assured that the lack of weight does not mean the performance has been sacrificed. Featuring a DS4 Body and Rotor, the Crossfire is made for power. The drag is incredibly smooth thanks to the ATD Drag with tough Digigear and one ball bearing. The reel also sports the Twistbuster 2 and infinite Anti-Reverse, which helps you to pick up line very quickly and catch up to that fish on the other end. The reel is also fitted with longcast aluminium ABS spools. A smartly priced reel that can match the performance of many more expensive models. The Carbon Light Material Housing was designed with the LT concept of light but tough, in mind. The carbon-based material is light yet very strong making the reel easy to manage over the long haul. A machined aluminum handle is a comfortable, strong connection to the main gear of the spinning reel. The Air Rotor and Air Bail designs reduce the weight, yet efficiently disperse the pressure of the line over the bail to the whole part. The reel is extremely smooth utilizing 5 ball bearings and 1 roller bearing to maximize performance. The Full Metal Body and Right Side plate, matched with a brass main gear and bearing supported pinion offer a drivetrain with unparalleled power, while the TiN Coated Level Wind System and Synchronized Drag and Level Wind system (*400 size only) give extra durability under high drags. Available in 200, 300 and 400 sizes with both standard and high speed gear ratios. Left hand models available in standard gear ratio only.

But it’s not all about strength, the SG6 is packed with other smart details such as a Braid-Ready spool that eliminates the need for mono backing, our proprietary Dura Grease for smooth and long-lasting operation, an aluminium spool, screw-in diecast handle and T-shaped line clip for easier operation. Excellent and long-lasting performance is guaranteed thanks to a sealed Friction Control drag system that uses carbon fibre washers, which deliver unrivalled stiffness, smoothness and fish-stopping power.

SG8 A great example of the way we built these reels from scratch with nothing “off the shelf”, the SG8 is a feature-packed monster constructed with a strong, stiff and lightweight Carbon Reinforced Composite (CRC) body and rotor. Excellent and long-lasting performance is guaranteed thanks to a sealed Friction Control drag system that uses carbon fibre washers, which deliver unrivalled stiffness, smoothness and fish-stopping power. An impressive 10+1 stainless steel ball bearings (including two Japanese ball bearings) ensure reliable performance even under heavy use. It also has many characteristics that make it a pleasure to use, such a T-shaped line grip, non-slip spool eliminating the need to use mono backing and an ergonomic EVA handle. All the innovative thinking you’ve come to expect from Savage Gear has been poured into this reel – it will quickly become an extension of you.
