In 1993, Danny Fairbrass made the move from smelting leads in his kitchen, to founding the ground braking Korda Developments. This was one of the most significant moments in recent carp-fishing history. By 2005, things had really gathered pace and Ali Hamidi joined the company to head the new marketing department. Korda Dura Kord Easy Splice leader 45lb

Heavy duty, splice able leader material with a dark, weedy green camou colour. it is made from a dyneema/polyster blend that absorbs water and sinks well. Its makeup means that its soft enough to lie well over bottom contours and it has an increased diameter to prevent it from cutting into subsurface snags and act as an effective rubbing leader.

Perfect for spinner, chod and hinge-stiff rigs, these are a great alternative to using putty - and they can be quickly changed if required.

Please note that these are designed to fit all KORDA size 11 swivels, and can be a little tight as tungsten offers no flex at all.
We wouldn't recommend using these with other manufacturers' swivels as they may not fit.

Korda Marker Stems

Ever had difficulty with your float rising on weedy waters? Well, this scenario is no more. We have produced a product that holds your float above the dreaded weed, yet still indicating the type of lake bed your fishing over through the line.
The injection-moulded stems hold the float 10in or so off the bottom and feature the line running through them via the large eye. This, in turn, allows the float to rapidly rise to the surface, marking your chosen area.
