ESP was launched in early 1999 and the initials literally stand for Extra Sensory Perception – or 'sixth sense'.
Prior to the brand launch, various names were being kicked around and the ESP name was inspired by an off-the-cuff remark made about Terry Hearn, the brand's longtime consultant.
It was suggested that he caught so many big, difficult to catch carp that he must have some sort of sixth sense or extra sensory perception - so the name stuck and ESP was born!
E.S.P Boillie Pult For maximum distance and tight grouping with minimum spillage Pouch capacity approximately 10 x 18mm or 16 x 15mm boilies With a little practice, tight groupings of baits can be achieved at distances around 40 metres Reduce the quantity and weight of bait for increased distance Special cone shaped pouch Spare pouches and latex available Latex is a natural material with limited lifespan and should be replaced regularly
E.S.P Particle Pult Designed to deliver large quantities of particle baits quickly and efficiently Unlike boilies, particle baits can be difficult to catapult any distances beyond about 15 to 20 metres This E-S-P Particle pult is designed to maximize distance and minimize spread with a range of popular baits including pellets, sweetco, tigeuts and hemp Spare pouches and latex available Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight / weathering and natural latex will last longer
ESP Interchangeable Marker Float System Sonar Marker Floats fly straight and true. Their special aerodynamic shape provides the ultimate long range marker combining maximum distance and accuracy. The special moulded body is tough, durable and exceptionally buoyant, pulling line through to the surface even at distance in windy conditions.
Also available are super bright isotopes designed to fit the slot in the Barrel Bobbin. These are sleeved in a clear PVC tube which not only protects the glass isotope but also provides a snug interference fit in the slot without the need for glue or sealant.
For long range specialists, there is also a stainless Metal Head bobbin. This interchanges with coloured the Barrel Bobbins and weighs 15g and with the stainless chain connector and add-on weight incorporated, can be increased to 21g. This extra weight improves bite indication at range on a tight line and especially in windy conditions. Kev Hewitt favours the Metal Head for most of his fishing and especially when zig fishing at range with a heavy lead where it comes into play for indicating drop backs.
This range of 5 rods has excellent multi modulus carbon blanks with an attractive gloss finish. The colour scheme is low key black throughout with a nice old school red tippet to the line clip whipping above the reel seat. Graphics have been kept low key on the underside of the blank - absolutely no offensive bling on these beauties.
ESP PVA Mesh 20mm & 25mm Refill 20 & 25mm Universal Refill, Nominal 6m Length. Ultra Fine Thread Strong Anti-Ladder Construction Smaller Knots Controlled Meltdown No Solvent Residue Economic Refill for virtually all other small diameter or dynamite stick systems.
ESP PVA Mesh 32mm Refill 32mm PVA Mesh Refill – Nominal 6m length. Ultra fine thread Extra strong anti-ladder weave patte Controlled meltdown No solvent residue More economical Smaller knots Tough enough to be packed out into bulbous bags and to withstand the forces of distance casting and splashdown
Designed for any rig that incorporates a sliding ring on the hook shank, ESP Shank Stops are housed on a handy frame that can be stored neatly in the tackle box. No more problems trying to extract a tiny stop from a flip top box! The frame contains 40 stops, 20 of each mini and small. The mini stops are perfect for hook sizes 8 and 10 whilst the small are best suited to larger hooks.
•25 units per packet •Available in camouflaged translucent weed green and gravel brown •Extra long versions of the E-S-P Streamliner Rig Sleeves with 3 prime functions: 1.Masking and protecting the knot 2.Acting as a stiff boom to prevent tangles during casting 3.Laying the hooklink out away from the lead for optimum bolt rig efficiency
Streamliner Rig Sleeves The streamlined shape of the Rig Sleeves offers knot protection, reduces tangles and helps lay the hooklink out away from the lead.
ESP tapered shock leaders are not just tapered nylon but an advanced low stretch polymer with a super slick finish. This low friction surface simply flies through the rings and the greatly reduced stretch means all casting power is transmitted directly to the lead. 15 LB to 45 LB
ESP Twin Walled Latex Tube 2 x 12" (30cm) lengths. Short or over-powered catapult elastics accelerate the bait load too fast and increase spread significantly These sections of latex provide a long, slow, powerful acceleration for maximum distance and minimum spread Natural latex has a unique power and elasticity but has a limited lifespan and should be replaced regularly
ESP X-Long Bait Stick Needle The 12cm long, flat forged needle is exceptionally rigid Ideal for threading through tightly packed dynamite sticks or P.V.A bags The gate latch head clasps and closes round loops allowing you to pull the hooklink back through sticks or bags
PRODUCT INFORMATION Padded zipped pouch with three internal dividers, an excellent substitute for a tackle box. Two sizes are available including large and small.
PRODUCT INFORMATION The Bits Bag features a spacious external pocket with heavy duty zip on one side and on the other eight zipped, internal pockets, in clear PVC, each with a gusset for increased capacity.
PRODUCT INFORMATION The 3 Rod Quiver comes as a pair with the quiver and protective oversleeve being sold together. Made from hardwearing fabrics and designed to be lightweight and functional whilst offering plenty of protection to the rods, this system is comfortable to carry even well fully loaded but works just as well when being transported on a barrow. The quiver features a pocket for the rod butts which covers the handle all the way up to the reel and Velcro/webbing straps to attach the rod at the upper end. At the base of the rod, butt pocket is a small webbing loop designed to make picking the quiver up easier when loading a vehicle etc. The central compartment is easily accessed with the aid of a three-quarter length chunky zip making it easier to accommodate bulkier shelters and nets etc. The smaller three-rod quiver is perfect for oval brollies and slimmer shelters whereas the four and five rod have a larger capacity for slightly bulkier shelters. On the reverse of the quiver, there are two bankstick pockets, a short one which is perfect for 12-inch banksticks and bivvy pegs and a longer one designed for longer banksticks and storm poles. The adjustable padded shoulder strap is anchored to the body of the quiver with webbing loops which are box stitched for extra security. This method does away with any plastic attachments on the anchor points which can become embrittled with use, resulting in a weak point, especially in cold weather. The sleeve simply goes over the quiver providing extra protection to the rods, lines, and guides and has a zip on one side making it easy to place the sleeve over the rods and a webbing/Velcro
The 40L Rucksack offers the best of both worlds: exceptionally comfortable to carry, whilst inside it offers a very generous capacity to store all of your kit. It also features a reinforced base, three large zipped external pockets, with the front one being roomy enough to accommodate a large plastic tackle box.
