The Grippa Stop’s bulbous end makes a perfect stop for small sliding rings, or for locking wagglers into position. Two Grippa Stops next to each other provide even more security when casting heavy bombs, wagglers and feeders. The direction of the stop on the main line can also be reversed by taking it off the wire onto a loop of nylon and then transferring it to the reel line.

These Quick Change Beads are precision made from high-quality English tooling so that the two components have a nice consistent fit. The outer bead is semi-flexible and grips in place securely over the internal connector. This connector has a small recess above the central hole to accommodate the barrel of the knot, which is formed when attaching the reel line. The internal unit has an average breaking strain of 20lb (9kg). Rather than an obtrusive black, Quick Change Beads come in much more discrete green and camo colours.

They are available in four sizes, 18, 14, 11 and 9. They are free rotating swivels with round eyes and a matt finish and cover all fresh water angling situations.

The rubber bead is designed to house the top ring and barrel of the swivel and leave the bottom ring protruding and free to rotate. Using a five-turn grinner knot in the following reel lines, the knot will fit neatly inside the bead.

They are produced in a super slick, hard grade polymer that slides beautifully on monofilament, the clip link is easy to open and is masked by exactly the right length of silicone tube to prevent tangles. These feature-packed floats are 11mm in diameter and come in 4g, 5g, 6g and 7g sizes. The highly visible tips are flighted to aid casting accuracy and available in a choice of red, orange or yellow. The position of the streamlined base weight also helps with arrow-straight casting and a pair of removable discs allows for additional fine-tuning. These floats also come with optional dive discs that help to reduce plunging on splashdown – particularly useful when catching ultra shallow. We recommend leaving a gap of around 6mm between the locking shot, rubber beads or Grippa Stops to allow the float to fold cleanly on the strike. This should result in a cleaner connection with a bite.

As it is made from 100% fluorocarbon, it is exceptionally abrasion resistant, sinks well and doesn’t degrade in sunlight, as standard mono can. It also has a very similar refractive index to water, making it almost invisible in clear water. Fluorocarbon is also less prone to spinning up on the retrieve compared to standard mono, making it a great choice for when you are continually casting out and reeling in.
