With the birth of the recent Hybrid feeder, which is made using a new type of material where the weight is in the body of the feeder, rather than being a separate weight, it made it possible to produce a feeder with the correct weight to make it efficient and useable in most fishing situations. Using the new material benefits the new Mini Pellet Feeder in many ways.

These Quick Change Beads are precision made from high-quality English tooling so that the two components have a nice consistent fit. The outer bead is semi-flexible and grips in place securely over the internal connector. This connector has a small recess above the central hole to accommodate the barrel of the knot, which is formed when attaching the reel line. The ICM Match Cube is great for any bomb and pellet or straight lead fishing. The 10g version makes a very small ‘plop’ when entering the water, very similar to the noise of a large pellet which can help attract fish. The 20g version can be used where extra distance is required.

These quick-change Drennan Method Connectors allow you to quickly change feeders and hooklengths. They are designed to go with the Drennan In-Line Flat Method Feeders and Pellet Feeders but they are also suitable for lots of other uses where a quick change connection is required. They provide an easy loop-to-loop, slimline join which locates neatly back inside the body of an inline feeder. The rubber sleeve semi locks into a central position for security and the internal moulding has a breaking strain of approximately 36lb (16kg), making it an extra-strong connection method.

The compact design makes them an ideal choice for catching carp in the upper layers or casting across to island swims. These feature-packed floats are 11mm in diameter and come in 4g, 5g, 6g and 7g sizes. The highly visible tips are flighted to aid casting accuracy and available in a choice of red, orange or yellow. The position of the streamlined base weight also helps with arrow-straight casting and a pair of removable discs allows for additional fine-tuning. We recommend leaving a gap of around 6mm between the locking shot, rubber beads or Grippa Stops to allow the float to fold cleanly on the strike. This should result in a cleaner connection with a bite.
