The Fireblade rod series has received very positive feedback for its outstanding value and fishing qualities over the last few years. We also received requests from owners and Century Sea Team for a GT (Glass Tip) version where the emphasis required a design that offered a variation in the level of bite sensitivity, specifically for anglers that look for this feature in their fishing strategies. The alterations have been made particularly in the upper quadrant of the rod and balanced throughout the rest of the rod’s deflectional curve.

The Shakespeare SALT XT Beachcaster is a unique rod for it’s price. By using the best quality carbon, the medium-fast tapered blank is very powerful and strong, but also has a very low diameter. The action produces a deeper feel in the blank and allows to switch between techniques depending on the situation

The Vercelli Hammer is a continental style rod more suited to the UK coastline due to it being constructed with a stiffer than average tip section allowing it to handle stronger tides and bigger species such as Rays and Hounds.

The Radiant may be the entry model in the Vercelli range but their pedigree still shows through to give you a very useable surf rod which gives nice easy to use 'on the beach' performance. The 3 piece carbon blank has a tubular Power Tip which helps to give the rod an easy to use semi parabolic action. It loads easily and allows good distances to be achieved with a simple overhead casting style. It is rated from 100 to 200gm and gives its optimum performance with a 130gm sinker + bait. The diameter of the rod is very thin, which makes the Surf Master slim and very reactive, making it a typical casting machine.
