Product reviews for Penn Surfblaster III Longcast

I picked up the surfblaster III 7000 and paired it with the Penn Squadron II 15ft rod, all from stock at Westbay Angling Centre. You can get a good deal buying a combo like this. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable. They put the line on for me as I was driving to the shop to pick up. Im using Berkley braid and a casting cannon with a 5oz lead plus bait. The reel is silky-smooth with a fine line lay system that sets your line nicely for maximum distance casting. I really like the drag too as this is almost micro adjustable. Loving the fact that the bale arm is not one of the automatic variety as this eliminates the possibility of a crack off accidents and also something less to go wrong. Only down side I  can think of is the knob is too small. I would have liked to have had one similar to the battle 3. I would definitely recommend the PENN Surfblaster III
